Job summary

Stable Rock Solutions LLC in New York is seeking a Tier 2 Support Engineer to provide advanced technical support across Windows, Microsoft 365, cloud infrastructure, security, and business-critical applications for client environments.

You will collaborate with Stable Rock's VP of Technology on day-to-day support, administration, security initiatives, and technology projects, while mentoring Tier 1 engineers and contributing to documentation and process improvements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in end-user support, systems administration, or related IT role.
• Hybrid work ability with in-office 2–3 days weekly.
• Experience in MSP environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced Tier 2 support across Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, cloud, SaaS, and network environments.
• Serve as a key technical resource for Stable Rock, collaborating on day-to-day support, systems administration, security, and initiatives.
• Support multiple client environments within an MSP model while maintaining client configurations and standards.
• Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, licensing, permissions, and user administration.
• Administer and support Intune, Entra ID/Azure AD, and Azure Virtual Desktop environments.
• Support security technologies, including email security gateways, endpoint security, identity protection, and access management.
• Troubleshoot complex service requests and manage the ticket queue with proper documentation and communication.
• Mentor Tier 1 Engineers and contribute to technical documentation and repeatable procedures.
