Job summary

Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking a Senior Security Research Engineer to lead vulnerability research, validation, and remediation guidance within the Global Vulnerability Management team. You will advance threat exposure management and enable automation, analytics, and AI-enabled workflows across networks, cloud, and applications.

Travel may be required; remote-friendly with compensation variations by geographic location.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in information security or related field.
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability research, analysis, and remediation guidance.
• Experience across OS, networks, cloud, apps, containers, databases, or hybrid infra.

Responsibilities

• Lead vulnerability research and validation to confirm conditions and remediation guidance.
• Develop risk-based prioritization using threat intel, asset context, and remediation considerations.
• Evolve vulnerability management platforms and enable automation across tech stacks.
