Job summary

SentinelOne is seeking a Senior Threat Intelligence Researcher to lead deep-dive investigations into emerging and known threats. You will synthesize intelligence from OSINT and the dark web, and provide senior management with clear briefings to mitigate risks.

Expect to develop hunting strategies and track adversary activity across infrastructure with automated tooling. You will collaborate with Detection Engineering to translate findings into durable hunting logic and contribute to OSINT tool

Qualifications

• Threat intelligence / threat hunting background.
• Knowledge of the cyber threat landscape, including actors and TTPs.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns in large datasets.
• Programming skills in python and knowledge of databases (SQL, noSQL).
• Strong knowledge of YARA to track new malware families and knowledge on validation best practices.
• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, CISA KEV, EPSS, AMITT, MISP Galaxy.

Responsibilities

• Drive External Threat Research: Triage and evaluate OSINT and lead in-depth investigations into emerging threats; evaluate signals from OSINT and dark web for relevance and impact.
• Synthesize Actionable Intelligence: Transform raw data into high-level threat briefings and risk assessments for senior stakeholders.
• Adversary Knowledge Management: Curate and expand internal Knowledge Base and IOC collections.
• Track Actor Tradecraft (TTPs): Monitor adversary behaviors to identify shifts in recruitment and operations.
• Pivot Across Infrastructure: Map threat actor footprints through domain registrations and SSL certificates.
• Bridge Intelligence Gaps: Collaborate with Detection Engineering to translate OSINT findings into durable hunting logic.
• Develop OSINT Tooling: Build scrapers, monitors, and data-visualization tools to identify anomalies.
