Coinbase, Inc. is seeking a Senior Threat Intelligence Engineer to combine deep technical threat tracking with innovative AI engineering to protect billions in digital assets.

You will automate tracking and analysis of sophisticated threats, report to executives, and curate our threat landscape in Vertex Synapse. You’ll build strategic relationships across Threat Intelligence communities and manage high-volume intel requests with accuracy and speed.

Formación

• 5+ years in operational threat intelligence, incident response, security research, or cyber investigations
• Proficient in Python or Go and SQL for data analysis and tooling development
• Able to translate complex threat analysis into clear, actionable intel briefs for technical and executive audiences
• Track record of independently identifying high-priority threats and driving investigations with minimal oversight
• Experience conducting OSINT research across diverse topics
• Uses generative AI responsibly with human oversight to improve workflow efficiency and quality

Responsabilidades

• Automate the tracking and analysis of sophisticated cyber threats targeting Coinbase's customers, employees, products, and infrastructure
• Influence decisions by reporting and presenting intelligence analysis to stakeholders, partners, and executives
• Model and curate the threat landscape within Vertex Synapse while elevating analytic quality through peer review
• Cultivate strategic relationships within Threat Intelligence communities to expand access to information and strengthen trust
• Investigate and deliver on a high volume of intelligence requests by prioritizing, documenting, and reporting timely and accurate information
• Serve as subject matter expert on the latest cyber threats and risks facing Coinbase, crypto, and the financial industry
