Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Threat Hunter at Fort Huachuca, AZ, to proactively identify, investigate, and mitigate sophisticated cyber threats across subscriber networks. You will develop advanced detection strategies, test hypotheses, and craft remediation actions for DoD information networks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 8+ years of cybersecurity experience preferred.
• Experience in cyber analysis, threat hunting, and/or purple/blue-team operations.
• Active experience with U.S. Government CSSP or similar environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support incident response during high-severity cyber incidents.
• Conduct proactive threat hunting across cloud and on‑prem environments.
• Identify TTPs and develop countermeasures including signatures and detection logic.
• Build and monitor AI-assisted detections to identify adversary behavior.
• Apply tools and methodologies to detect, analyze, and mitigate threats and share intelligence.
