Job summary

CLEAR is seeking a Threat Detection Analyst III to join our SOC team to lead complex investigations, improve threat detection, and mentor analysts as part of building a safer, frictionless security environment across global networks and cloud environments.

You will develop detection logic, apply MITRE ATT&CK and other frameworks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive timely remediation and strengthen CLEAR’s security posture.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in cybersecurity, with 5+ years in security operations, threat detection or incident response.
• Deep knowledge of SIEM, EDR, and security monitoring technologies.
• Experience applying MITRE ATT&CK, NIST CSF, or ISO 27001 to identify adversary behavior.
• Proficiency with data, automation, scripting, and AI-enabled tools for investigations.
• Ability to mentor analysts and develop scalable threat-detection processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex investigations across networks, endpoints, data centers, cloud environments, and other critical systems from analysis to remediation.
• Develop, tune, and optimize threat-detection logic across SIEM/EDR to reduce false positives and improve alert fidelity.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Infrastructure, and other teams to drive remediation and improve security posture.
• Apply threat intelligence and AI-enabled tools to identify emerging attack patterns and improve workflows.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor junior analysts, establishing playbooks and standards for threat detection and analysis.
