Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of cybersecurity experience in threat detection, security operations, or related disciplines.
• Hands‑on experience with SIEM platforms (Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk ES, QRadar, Elastic).
• Experience developing and maintaining detection rules and monitoring processes.
• Strong understanding of auditing principles, risk management and regulatory requirements.
• Experience supporting audits and responding to auditor requests.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain threat detection and monitoring capabilities across enterprise environments.
• Develop, tune, and optimize SIEM use cases, alerts, and correlation logic to identify threats.
• Conduct proactive threat hunting, investigations, and event analysis to identify risks.
• Collaborate with Security Operations, Incident Response, Infrastructure, and Cloud teams to improve coverage.
• Support audits by providing evidence, documentation, and responses to requests.
• Assess and align monitoring practices to regulatory requirements and security frameworks.
• Analyze logs and telemetry from network, endpoint, cloud, and applications.
• Develop dashboards and reporting to measure detection effectiveness and compliance readiness.
• Automate monitoring and reporting processes through scripting and workflow improvements.
• Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis.
