MetOx International in Houston, TX seeks a Senior Process Engineer focused on thin-film deposition to advance HTS wire production. You will own process development, run DOE studies, and drive improvements across the manufacturing platform.

You will mentor junior engineers and collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Equipment teams to scale from pilot to full production, enjoying strong growth and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years in process/manufacturing engineering with sputtering/PVD.
• An advanced degree may substitute for experience year-for-year.
• Experience designing and executing statistically driven experiments.
• Experience analyzing manufacturing data with statistical methods.

Responsibilities

• Owns the technical development and continuous improvement of sputtering and related thin-film deposition processes.
• Defines process capability improvement strategies to increase throughput and reduce variation.
• Evaluates emerging deposition technologies to support scale-up.
• Provides technical leadership across development, pilot, and manufacturing.
• Mentors junior engineers and collaborates with cross-functional teams.
