Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a technical field with 8+ years of experience; or advanced degrees with fewer years.
• Experience designing experiments, analyzing process data, and interpreting technical results.
• Willingness to travel approximately 10–20% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and characterize thin-film deposition processes using Veeco ion beam systems.
• Design and execute experiments to improve process performance and customer outcomes.
• Establish BKMs, procedures, and qualification methodologies.
• Plan and conduct customer demonstrations and process evaluations.
• Analyze data and prepare technical reports and presentations.
• Collaborate with product management and field teams on new product introductions.
• Support customer qualification through transfer and on-site assistance.
• Investigate issues and perform root cause analysis to improve performance.
• Evaluate new applications and materials aligned with Veeco's roadmap.
• Provide training to engineers and customers.
