Job summary

Rockford Combustion seeks a field service technician to diagnose burner control and electrical issues, perform startup/commissioning, and communicate effectively with client plant personnel. The role includes maintaining field service reports and exploring upgrades or repairs as needed.

The position offers on-site training, a work-from-home option with weekly travel, and a range of benefits and bonuses tied to performance.

Qualifications

• HVAC proficiency and electrical troubleshooting.
• Motor replacement, repair and maintenance experience.
• Familiarity with alternative fuel systems and safety inspections.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and solve burner control and electrical issues.
• Perform point-to-point checkout, startup and commissioning of new equipment.
• Effectively communicate with client’s plant personnel.
• Maintain field service reports and expenses.
• Identify upgrade and repair opportunities.
• Provide training support as required.
• Other duties as required.

This position does allow a work from home office setting, however weekly travel is expected. Onsite training for accurate understanding in the combustion business is provided. We offer competitive wages and bonuses. This position may be eligible for 1 month salary sign on bonus, commissions, as well as up to 2% end of year bonus based on business goals.
