Job summary

Nestlé USA is seeking a seasoned Thermal Processing professional to lead and execute validated thermal processing studies across our factories. You will develop and document process specifications, support regulatory interactions, and help advance factory capabilities toward mainstream Process Authority designation.

In this role, you will travel to manufacturing sites, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive improvements that preserve lethality while optimizing efficiency.

Qualifications

• Typically five or more years of experience in thermal process establishment, validation, verification, or technical support.
• Hands-on experience conducting studies and authoring technical reports across multiple products or processing technologies.
• Training including Better Process Control School or equivalent is expected.

Responsibilities

• Design, conduct, document, and evaluate thermal processing studies across factories.
• Prepare thermal process establishment reports and draft schedule processes and specifications.
• Review and approve factory CCPs, procedures, and validation documents.
• Evaluate deviations and escalate to Process Authority when needed.
• Maintain field presence during trials, commissioning, and investigations; verify equipment and practices.
• Support regulatory inspections with accurate technical records and analyses.
