Job summary

Nestlé USA seeks a Process Authority Apprentice to provide field-intensive thermal processing technical service for factories, co-manufacturers, and licensees, with significant travel to sites (+75%). The role develops breadth of regulatory knowledge under supervision and progresses toward formal Process Authority designation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a science-based discipline; HACCP training is required.
• 5+ years of experience in thermal process establishment/validation/verification or technical support.
• Hands-on experience conducting studies and authoring technical reports across multiple products and processing technologies.
• Experience leading audits and supporting startups and investigations.

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct thermal processing studies across factories; validate lethality and sterility.
• Prepare thermal processing specifications and reports for Process Authority review.
• Review and approve CCPs, procedures, and deviation evaluations under delegated authority.
• Coach and develop factory teams; contribute to standards and training materials.
