Job summary

Seneca Foods Corporation, a leading producer of canned fruits and vegetables with facilities across the U.S., seeks a Senior Thermal Processing Manager in Janesville, WI. You will develop and validate thermal processes for canned products, ensuring regulatory compliance and product safety.

You will lead laboratory research, mentor staff, and collaborate with facilities to improve process reliability and efficiency while supporting manufacturing operations and quality goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years hands-on thermal processing experience or 10+ years across related processing technologies.
• Laboratory research, process development and manufacturing support are combined in this role.
• Knowledge of FDA regulations 21 CFR 11, 108, 113, 114, 117 is required.

Responsibilities

• Design, conduct heat penetration studies and establish thermal processes using CALSoft/NumeriCAL.
• Lead lab-based thermal processing research and mentor staff.
• File scheduled processes with FDA and maintain supporting documentation.
