Job summary

Johnson & Johnson's Manufacturing Science and Technology team in Wilson, NC seeks an Experienced Engineer - Thermal to join the MSAT Thermal Validation group. You will lead autoclave cycle development, qualification activities, and document execution.

The role requires a degree in life sciences or engineering, at least 3 years in pharmaceutical manufacturing, and proven ability to work independently under tight deadlines while coordinating with contractors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Biology, Biochemistry, or related field.
• At least 3 yrs experience in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to engage with internal and external customers.
• Proficient in MS Office, Excel, SAP.
• Ability to work independently with tight deadlines.
• Experience in biological Thermal Validation (minimum 2 years).

Responsibilities

• Lead MSAT activities in Thermal Validation compliant with US/EU regulations.
• Develop MSAT documentation and coordinate reviews and approvals.
• Review and approve documents prepared by MSAT colleagues.
• Field execution of MSAT protocols.
• Coordinate MSAT activities with Manufacturing and contractors.
• Prepare reports for completed protocols and manage change control.
