Job summary

Modine is seeking a Senior Thermodynamic Calculation Engineer to design and analyze thermal management systems for data center and HVAC products in Racine, WI. The role emphasizes thermodynamic modeling, tool development, and cross-functional collaboration across global teams.

Ideal candidates have an MS in mechanical engineering with 3+ years of experience, strong English communication, and experience with CEEE tools or KULI.

Qualifications

• MS in Mechanical Engineering with emphasis on heat transfer/thermodynamics and 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Working knowledge of thermodynamic tools; preferably CEEE tools and KULI.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Architecture, implement, and maintain the company’s product design code.
• Collaborate with Research, Product Development, and Test Engineers to set up tests and build thermodynamic models.
• Evaluate products and systems for safety and quality compliance.
• Partner with global engineering teams to resolve technical issues and share best practices.
• Instruct engineers on using new system tools.
• Support methodology development for modeling optimization at component and system levels.
• Present project updates and technical findings to stakeholders.
