Job summary

Modine, a global leader in thermal management, seeks a CFD Engineer to support global product development. You will mesh and perform CFD analyses on heat-transfer components and develop performance models for cross-functional teams worldwide.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering (or a Bachelor’s with substantial CFD experience) and is proficient with CCM+ and EES, with strong English communication and experience supporting international operations.

Qualifications

• Master's in Mechanical Engineering preferred; 2+ years CFD experience required or Bachelor's with 5+ years CFD experience.
• Working knowledge of CCM+ for simulation and meshing is required.
• Working knowledge of EES for coding performance models is required.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills in English are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform CFD meshing and analysis of heat transfer components.
• Coordinate with global counterparts to ensure consistent software usage and practices.
• Draw conclusions from CFD results and performance tests, and report them to diverse audiences.
• Maintain and improve EES-based performance models.
• Interact with Applications, Design Engineers, and customers to ensure products perform as required in field.
