Framatome North America in Lynchburg, VA seeks an experienced engineer to advance advanced nuclear technologies. You will perform complex design, development, analysis, testing and field tasks while ensuring compliance with government and industry standards.

The role requires at least 7 years of related experience, a bachelor’s in engineering, and proficiency with VIPRE/COBRA or similar tools, plus programming in FORTRAN/C/C++/Python and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering; other related degrees may be accepted.
• Minimum of 7 years of related experience.
• Advanced knowledge of related engineering standards, techniques and criteria.
• Excellent communication skills to comprehend and convey detailed technical data.
• Ability to grow network and work collaboratively within a team.
• Advanced problem identification and problem resolution skills.
• Displays leadership characteristics.
• Proficiency with specialized software tools and programming languages as required by the role.
