Job summary

EVONA in Long Beach, CA seeks a Staff Thermal Engineer for spacecraft controls to develop and own thermal design for human-rated space stations. You will lead thermal analyses, coordinate with cross-disciplinary teams, and drive hardware-level designs from concept through integration.

You will apply Thermal Desktop and TVAC testing expertise, document analyses, review drawings, and communicate results to management and customers. The role reports to the Senior Manager, Thermal Analysis.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of active thermal control systems and application of technical principles.
• Expertise with Thermal Desktop for analyses.
• Extensive TVAC testing experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop thermal systems requirements.
• Perform thermal analysis to optimize designs.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines.
• Document thermal analyses and designs.
• Review and approve thermal design drawings.
• Report results to management and customers.
• Plan and execute TVAC tests with test engineering.
• Provide feedback on cost/schedule impacts.
