Job summary

Vast Space LLC is seeking a Staff Thermal Engineer to support the design and build of human-rated space stations in Long Beach, California. The position is full-time and requires a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in aerospace engineering.

You will be responsible for developing thermal systems requirements, performing analyses, and collaborating with various engineering teams to ensure optimal design solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or related discipline with 10+ years of experience.
Expertise with thermal analysis tools is required.
Must have experience with TVAC testing.

Perform thermal analysis for design optimization.
Coordinate with other engineering disciplines.

Skills

Thermal analysis tool: Thermal Desktop

Knowledge of active thermal control systems

Education
