Job summary

Acceler8 Talent is seeking an experienced Thermal Engineer to lead the design, modeling and validation of cooling systems for high-powered electronic equipment in data-center environments.

You will own thermal solutions from early analysis through physical testing and validation, working with suppliers and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable cooling for next-generation hardware.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years of thermal-design experience.
• At least 2 years hands-on liquid- or two-phase-cooling design experience.
• Strong knowledge of heat-transfer fundamentals.
• Proficiency with thermal-simulation tools (Flotherm/Flotherm XT/FloEFD/Icepak) and validation.
• Experience taking thermal designs from modeling through physical validation.
• Designed cooling solutions for high-power electronic systems.
• Experience collaborating with suppliers and cross-functional engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, modeling, and validation of cooling systems for high-power electronics.
• Design heat sinks, cold plates, and liquid-cooling loops.
• Develop air-, liquid-, and two-phase-cooling solutions.
• Run thermal modeling and simulation; conduct physical testing and model correlation.
• Integrate cooling systems into broader hardware architectures.
• Troubleshoot thermal-performance and system reliability issues.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and system-engineering teams.
