Job summary

Zeno Power seeks a Senior Thermal Analysis Engineer to advance Radioisotope Power System technology. You will lead thermal analyses across the full product lifecycle, develop both steady-state and transient analyses, and build high-fidelity models integrated with CAD/CAE tools.

You will collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and test teams to ensure robust, cost-effective designs and drive verification through data and testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in mechanical engineering with extensive thermal analysis experience
• Proficiency with finite-element–based thermal analysis tools
• Experience with both high-fidelity and reduced-order thermal models

Responsibilities

• Lead thermal analysis across the full product lifecycle
• Develop steady-state and transient thermal analyses using FEA
• Build high-fidelity thermal models using CAD-integrated CAE
• Apply first-principles heat transfer to guide model formulation
• Define thermal requirements and acceptance criteria
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate thermal considerations
• Provide technical leadership on thermal analysis methods
