Zeno Power in Seattle is seeking a Senior Thermal Analysis Engineer to lead thermal analysis across the full product lifecycle for Radioisotope Power Systems. You will build high-fidelity models, perform steady-state and transient analyses, and ensure results drive design decisions with multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires strong communication, hands-on experience with ANSYS Workbench or Thermal Desktop, and a track record in high-uncertainty environments.

Qualificações

• BS in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) with 7+ years of thermal analysis experience.
• Experience with finite-element thermal analysis tools (e.g., ANSYS Workbench, Thermal Desktop).
• Ability to develop both high-fidelity and reduced-order thermal models.
• Strong written and verbal communication; capable of clear results.
• Experience with AS9100 QA or Confluence/Jira is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead thermal analysis across full product lifecycle.
• Develop and execute steady-state and transient thermal analyses.
• Build and refine high-fidelity thermal models with CAD/CAE tools.
• Correlate FEA predictions with experimental data and update models.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, systems, test, and materials engineers.
• Define thermal requirements and acceptance criteria, support verification and validation.
