Job summary

Havenly is seeking a Senior Textiles Designer to expand our textile collections, focusing on hand-loomed and hand-knotted rugs. You will own the development of signature styles from concept to production, while mentoring a growing design team and collaborating with Product Development, Merchandising and Supply Chain.

You will lead the end-to-end design process, identify opportunities from trends and customer needs, and oversee budgets for sampling and travel.

Qualifications

  • 8–10 years of hands-on textile and rug design experience.
  • 4+ years managing a design team.
  • Experience with hand-made rugs using natural, sustainable materials.
  • Ability to own the design process end-to-end from concept to production.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of Havenly Brand's textile collections.
  • Identify assortment opportunities with cross-functional teams and market data insights.
  • Create technical sketches, specifications, sample comments, and QC documents across languages.
  • Mentor the design team and foster a culture of elevated design and sustainability.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain to ensure QC standards across the product lifecycle.
  • Oversee team priorities and align timelines with internal resources and artisan partners.
  • Manage annual budgets for sampling and team travel.
  • Present new collections to leadership and internal teams.
