Job summary

Apple Inc. seeks a Textile Subject Matter Expert to lead process development and capability assessment for softgoods textile manufacturing. You will partner with product design to ensure manufacturability at scale, drive root cause analyses, and guide supplier readiness for high-volume ramps.

You will develop PQPs, coordinate quality plans, and collaborate with global suppliers to enable scalable production while advancing sustainability and innovation in textile processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in textile materials, manufacturing, or development.
• Strong collaboration and ability to influence cross functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead process development and capability assessment for textile manufacturing.
• Collaborate with design teams to ensure manufacturability at scale.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for material/process issues.
• Support supplier qualification and scale up for high-volume manufacturing.
• Develop quality plans and measurement systems for textile properties.
