Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 7+ years of product design experience with extensive CAD experience.
• MS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 12+ years of product design experience with NX software.
• Previous experience in Softgoods and/or wearables product design.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead role within the Softgoods Engineering team at Apple to define architectures and develop innovative Softgoods products.
• Work with textiles and soft polymers integrated into Apple's product lines to enhance functionality and aesthetics.
• Collaborate in customized labs with a diverse group of creative thinkers.
• Balance mechanical and electrical design to create breathtaking and functional products.
