Job summary

The American Society of Interior Designers is seeking a Senior Textile Designer in New York to lead design development for bath and beach textile collections. You will translate consumer trends into market-ready products, focusing on color, pattern, materials, and technical execution.

Work closely with design leadership, brand teams, and production partners to move concepts from sketches through sampling to final product. Strong CAD skills and a keen eye for detail are essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of design experience within home textiles, ideally bath and beach products.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Knowledge of textile construction, patterns, color development, and product specifications; jacquard, dobby or printed designs are a plus.
• Strong creative instincts and ability to translate trends into marketable concepts.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills to handle multiple projects.
• Strong communication and presentation skills across design and product teams.
