Job summary

Forgent Power Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Testing Manager to lead the testing organization for low and medium voltage electrical switchgear. This role is critical in ensuring safe and compliant testing activities and involves mentoring a strong testing team while collaborating with Quality and Engineering departments.

The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in electrical power systems and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. A comprehensive benefits package including health insurance and 401K is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of experience in electrical power systems, testing, or manufacturing environments.
• Strong working knowledge of low and medium voltage switchgear and power distribution systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop Test Engineers and Technicians.
• Develop and maintain testing strategies for switchgear.
• Communicate testing performance and risks to the Quality Director.
