Job summary

BakerEngineering and Risk Consultants, Inc. in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Senior Testing Engineer to lead planning, execution, and reporting of complex testing programs from proposal through completion.

You will oversee test readiness, instrumentation, SOPs, equipment capabilities, and facility enhancements, translating test data into practical, technically sound client recommendations. This full-time role requires strong engineering judgment and 8–12 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of engineering experience with experimental/structural testing or related fields.
• Experience developing test plans, procedures, instrumentation layouts, and technical reports.
• Experience analyzing and interpreting experimental data.
• Proficiency with instrumentation and measurements and data acquisition systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and reporting of complex testing programs from proposal to completion.
• Oversee test readiness, SOPs, instrumentation, and facility enhancement initiatives.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and staff.
• Prepare technical reports and client deliverables with clear recommendations.
