BakerRisk operates two premier testing facilities in Texas, the Wilfred E. Baker Test Facility (WEBTF) and Box Canyon Test Facility (BCTF), supporting full-scale structural response testing, blast testing, fire testing, explosive testing, projectile impact testing, combustion research, product qualification, and custom experimental programs.
An immediate full-time position is available for a Senior Testing Engineer in San Antonio, Texas. The Senior Testing Engineer leads the planning, execution, and reporting of complex testing programs. The successful candidate will manage projects from proposal through completion. This position supports the operation and continuous improvement of BakerRisk's test facilities by overseeing test readiness, instrumentation, standard operating procedures, equipment capabilities, and facility enhancement initiatives. Success in this role requires strong engineering judgment, project management skills, and the ability to translate complex test data into practical, technically sound recommendations for clients.
Master’s Degree in engineering (Civil/Structural, Mechanical, Materials). A Bachelor’s degree may be acceptable with prior work experience as a structural engineer.
