The role involves developing test scenarios for an AI-enabled UI Job Assist Tool, testing REST APIs and Java microservices, validating MCP interactions, and ensuring data integrity across systems. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and knowledge transfer to State staff will be part of the role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing of enterprise web applications and distributed systems.
• 3+ years testing REST APIs and microservices, including payloads, schemas, authentication, error handling, and data validation.
• 12 months testing AI-enabled applications or integrations and MCP servers/clients/tools.
• Experience with Java-based enterprise applications and SQL data validation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute functional and integration test scenarios for the Al-enabled UI Job Assist Tool.
• Test REST APIs and Java microservices used to exchange data between the core UI system and the Job Assist Tool.
• Validate MCP servers, including server/client interactions and error-path behavior.
• Execute positive, negative, boundary, regression, and end-to-end tests across APIs, microservices, MCP components, and AI integrations.
• Create and maintain test cases, test data, traceability, and defect documentation.
