Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a TEST AND VALIDATION MGR II ENGINEERING in Middletown, USA. You will lead the Test & Validation team, setting strategy, ownership of DVT, and hands-on validation for 112G/224G products, while driving automation and cross-functional collaboration.

The role demands deep expertise in SerDes, PAM4, BER/PRBS, and test equipment, with strong leadership and communication skills. Onsite work with competitive compensation and benefits in a global tech company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering.
• 10+ years of relevant high-speed digital hardware/test engineering experience, or 6+ years with a Master’s.
• Strong understanding of SerDes, PAM4, BER/PRBS, eye diagrams, jitter, and link margin.
• Hands-on with high-speed test equipment such as BERTs, oscilloscopes, VNAs.
• Experience developing validated plans, procedures, traceability, and objective release criteria.
• Strong troubleshooting and cross-functional leadership and communication.
• Experience with Python scripting and lab automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Test & Validation engineers and technicians.
• Own validation strategy and DVT execution across requirements.
• Lead high-speed electrical validation including BER/PRBS testing and eye/jitter measurements.
• Drive lab automation using Python and reusable test frameworks.
• Establish automated data collection, analysis, reporting, and trend monitoring.
• Partner with Hardware, Firmware, Manufacturing, and Product teams.
• Support customer issue reproduction and qualification activities.
• Maintain laboratory capability, equipment planning, and testing standards.
