Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Technician Engineer to support test engineering, fixture development, and environmental tooling for production readiness. You will collaborate with Test Support and Manufacturing to deliver comprehensive documentation and training for all test solutions.

The role emphasizes improving test yields, uptime, and process efficiency while balancing cost and coverage to ensure an optimized, cost-effective test process. Strong PC skills and problem-solving abilities are required.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to present information to managers and clients.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
• Proficient with Windows and PC-based software.
• Advanced PC skills and familiarity with Jabil software packages.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and understand visuals.
• Ability to read instructions and perform basic math calculations.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and interpret graphs.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Test Engineer in the development and commission of test solutions executing the test qualification of the fixture and program as per the specific system qualification process.
• Provides deliverables to support the solution in production to both the Test Support Function and Manufacturing Operations.
• Assists in the build and manufacture of testers, fixtures and environmental tooling as required to meet customer expectations.
• Provides the interface to the Test Support function providing comprehensive documentation and training for all test solutions implemented.
• Provides the interface to the Manufacturing function providing comprehensive documentation and coordinating training and education for all test operations implemented.
• Monitors and contributes to the improvement of Test Yields, Efficiency, Intermittencies and Uptime providing accurate reporting and targets.
• Strives to upgrade the test process balancing cost and coverage for optimized test efficiency.
• Coordinates timetable for test readiness based on weekly production schedule through Test Support staff.
