Job summary

RTX in Forest, MS seeks a Test Technician to perform diverse testing, calibration, and maintenance of electronic and RF systems in a challenging lab and production environment.

The role requires a technical degree with hands-on experience and the ability to follow complex schematics, perform data analysis, and support process improvements. On-site work with security clearance eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• AA/AS degree or equivalent with minimum of 6 years relevant experience.
• Experience troubleshooting electronic circuits to component level and identifying failure trends.
• Experience evaluating Radio Frequency systems and subsystems (Transmitter/Receiver/Antenna/Processor).

Responsibilities

• Test, troubleshoot, repair, and install a wide variety of electronic, electro-mechanical, and mechanical systems and equipment.
• Analyze test data and perform necessary repairs aligning with test specifications.
• Follow approved procedures, schematics, and drawings during tasks.
• Validate procedures, set up and operate engineering and scientific equipment.
• Interpret data to determine pass/fail conditions and escalate for further analysis.
• Train junior technicians on basic electronic principles and RF theory.
