Job summary

SiTime is seeking a hands-on technician to support high-volume Automated Test Equipment, handlers, and loadboard hardware in a final test facility in Tempe, AZ. You will ensure tool uptime, troubleshoot ATE interfaces, and perform scheduled preventative maintenance to back automotive and industrial shipments.

Education includes a high school diploma or GED, with an Associate Degree preferred. 4–6 years in automated electronics/back-end manufacturing is expected, plus knowledge of MES/ERP and MS

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Associate Degree is a plus.
• 4–6 years in automated electronics or semiconductor back-end manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of MES software, inventory tracking (ERP/SAP), and basic MS Excel for production logs.

Responsibilities

• Machinery Operation: Set up and run production machinery (ATE test handler loading).
• Device Testing & Handler Support: Load device trays/tubes into automated test handlers. Monitor jam rates, perform basic contactor cleaning, and clear mechanical jams to maintain high machine throughput (UPH).
• Visual & Mechanical Inspection: Inspect die surfaces, bond wires, and package leads under optical microscopes for cracks, chip-outs, or solder bridging.
• Lot Inventory & Yield Tracking: Record pass/fail yields, scrap counts, and test execution data in MES/ERP tracking software. Flag low-yield lots to quality and product engineers.
