Job summary

RTX is seeking a Test Technician IV for onsite, first shift in Phoenix. You will test electronic units, set up test stands, calibrate equipment, and interpret results. The role requires reading technical data and experienced troubleshooting at sub-assembly levels.

Excellent teamwork and continuous improvement mindset are essential. The position operates on a standard Monday–Friday schedule with potential weekend/holiday support to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent (GED) with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical data from manuals, schematics, and drawings.
• Prior experience troubleshooting components at sub-assembly level and using diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Follow and suggest improvements to Health and Safety guidelines for a safe work environment.
• Test a variety of electronic units using prescribed procedures.
• Set up and operate test stands and calibrate equipment.
• Configure, calibrate and maintain test equipment.
• Interpret and record test results.
• Identify and isolate test equipment failures.
• Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot to sub-assembly level and component level.
• Read and interpret component maintenance manuals, engineering prints, and schematics.
• Communicate work status to team members and support staff, including shift handoffs.
• Work alone and as part of a team to meet production and quality goals.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects and initiatives.
