Position Summary

Perform tests to assess conformance with engineering specifications and conduct quality assurance/control tests of raw materials, parts, components, finished items, packaging, equipment, and systems. Perform final tests on sub‑assemblies or completed units as necessary to ensure proper functioning of electrical, mechanical, and chemical performance. Scope of work may include strength testing, thermal testing, pyrometry, and metallurgical testing.

What You Will Do
  • Test a variety of electronic units using prescribed test procedures.
  • Set up and operate various test stands.
  • Configure test equipment for special tests as needed.
  • Interpret and record test results.
  • Recognize and isolate test equipment failures.
  • Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electronic units to the sub‑assembly and component level.
  • Read and interpret technical data such as component maintenance manuals, engineering prints, and schematics.
  • Effectively communicate work status to team members and support staff (e.g., shift pass down, engineering, maintenance).
  • Understand the theory of electronic circuitry and electrical components.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
  • Maintain clear and concise technical documentation.
  • Use office software applications.
Shift Details

3rd Shift: 8:00pm – 6:00am, Sunday to Wednesday.

Training on 2nd Shift: Monday to Friday, 2:00pm – 10:30pm for up to 60 days.

Work Environment

May occasionally need to provide weekend and holiday support to meet customer needs.

Exposed to products of various weights and sizes, equipment with moving parts, and chemicals that may emit fumes.

Safety risk mitigation will require the use of static‑control and personal protective equipment.

Physical Demands
  • Distinguishing colors and meeting vision requirements.
  • Bending, stooping, reaching, and turning as needed to place units in test stands, pick up totes, and place units on rack.
  • Using hands for extended periods to perform testing and troubleshooting tasks (e.g., grasping, holding, picking, placing, twisting, fine manipulation).
  • Stand for 2‑hour increments without an opportunity to sit.
  • Lift up to 25pounds.
  • Transport product with or without product carts.
Security & Eligibility

U.S. citizenship is required. Candidates must be U.S. citizens or authorized U.S. persons. Security Clearance Type: None / Not Required.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma (or equivalent, e.g., GED) or vocational/technical education in a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience reading or interpreting schematics, blueprints, or technical drawings.
  • Experience using multimeters or oscilloscopes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Electrical Technician Certification.
  • Associate's Degree in Electronics.
  • Prior experience with component‑level troubleshooting (3–5 years).
