Job summary
EnerSys Advanced Systems, Bren-Tronics division, is seeking a Test Technician to test and troubleshoot defective electronic sub-assemblies, batteries, chargers, and accessories detected during manufacturing.
You will interpret blueprints, repair or rework components, collect data, and participate in prototype work with the New Product Team, ensuring conformance to specifications and facilitating production transfers.
Qualifications
- Technical or vocational training in manufacturing industry.
- Minimum 3+ years of technical experience in Test Technician or similar role.
- Understanding of circuit boards, microprocessors, and computer hardware.
Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints and schematics to troubleshoot to component level and document results.
- Repair or rework products using electrical‑mechanical assembly and soldering.
- Calculate, collect test data and verify results against specifications.
- Participate in prototype assembly and New Product Team activities to support production transfer.
- Identify and explain issues related to product quality and assist in resolutions.
- Perform tests on batteries, chargers, power supplies, and related wiring boards using meters and scopes.
