Job summary

Rocket Lab USA in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Senior Test Technician for the A Shift. You will work on electrical and electromechanical assemblies for Electron avionics, Rutherford engine, and Photon components, performing a range of tests from radios to space batteries.

The role requires 8+ years in electronic assembly, familiarity with vibration/thermal/vacuum testing, and HS Diploma or GED. Onsite work, extended hours may be necessary, and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in electronic component assembly, preferably for aerospace applications.
• Experience with electrical assembly tools, bench testing, and measuring instruments.
• Experience with vibration tables, thermal environment chambers, and vacuum chambers.
• HS Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Daily responsibilities will include functional testing, bench testing, vibration testing, and environmental testing.
• Strong technical proficiency with testing equipment is essential to ensure all components are thoroughly tested and meet the required standards for spaceflight.
• Verify that all components comply with performance and quality specifications.
