Job summary

RTX, a leading aerospace and defense company, seeks a Test Solutions Engineer for onsite work in Tucson, AZ. The role requires a DoD Secret clearance and involves designing, developing, and integrating test equipment for Raytheon products with multidisciplinary teams.

You'll work hands-on with cutting-edge test instrumentation, contribute to production test stations, and troubleshoot throughout the lifecycle. The mission supports warfighters and national security with meaningful engineering.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
• Experience in electrical troubleshooting, analysis, and/or testing.
• Experience with common test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, network analyzers, and/or power meters.

Responsibilities

• Work hands-on within multidisciplinary engineering teams to design, develop, and integrate test equipment for Raytheon products.
• Create production test stations, interface test adapters (ITAs), harnesses, and supporting test hardware.
• Produce technical drawings, schematics, and circuit analyses that guide test system development.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues throughout the design, development, and integration lifecycle — both independently and as part of a team.
