Job summary

Mission Critical Group (MCG) is seeking a Testing Lead on the production floor to oversee testing and troubleshooting during the final assembly phase of electrical control and distribution equipment. You will ensure product excellence, reliability, and adherence to safety and quality standards while coordinating with internal teams and clients.

Responsibilities include leading Test Technicians, performing diagnostics, and guiding corrective actions to meet on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience testing equipment using IEEE or ANSI Acceptance Standards.
• Hands-on experience with electrical testing procedures and equipment.
• Understanding of MV and LV switchgear, control panels, PCD, and crimp plate buildings.
• Familiarity with UL 891, UL 1558, DLAH requirements, and related industry standards.
• Understanding of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and test documentation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and schedule staff on projects to meet quality standards and on-time shipment requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and direct corrective actions of Test Technicians by demonstrating advanced knowledge and technical skills.
• Perform diagnostics, troubleshoot, investigate, advise ONCR/NCRs, and repair all custom-built equipment prior to client shipment.
• Perform Factory Acceptance Tests using industry standards to show the functionality of products and advise interfacing capabilities with clients’ equipment.
• Interact with customers while providing design verifications and product reliability demonstrations during client witness testing activities.
