Job summary

Mission Critical Group (MCG) is seeking a Testing Technician to perform final assembly testing and troubleshooting of electrical control and distribution equipment. You will verify HIPOT tests, document results, and ensure assemblies meet engineering specs before shipment.

Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to identify and resolve issues, participate in factory acceptance testing, and assist with design verifications while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in wiring and assembling electrical control and distribution equipment.
• Knowledge of design principles, blueprints, drawings and models.
• Familiarity with testing tools and procedures for power switchgear.
• Proficiency with computer hardware and software, including Microsoft Office.
• Strong math, written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to identify and resolve issues independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing and troubleshooting during final assembly of electrical control and distribution equipment.
• Verify HIPOT tests on copper bus and document results.
• Ensure final product matches schematics and perform basic device programming.
• Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests and advise on interfacing with client equipment.
• Identify defects through visual and electrical inspections and assist with repairs.
• Support senior team members during design verifications and client witness testing.
