Job summary

ITT Aerospace Controls LLC in Valencia, California is seeking an experienced Test Engineering Supervisor to lead the Test Lab on-site, manage Test personnel workload, coordinate program testing activities, and drive improvements of test capabilities and equipment.

The ideal candidate has a background as a Test Engineer, Project Engineer, or Technical Lead, with strong communication to senior leadership and a proven ability to deliver test plans, reports, and reliable results in highly regulated

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering/related field.
• 5+ years in aerospace/regulated environments.
• 2+ years leading technical staff and test activities.
• Experience planning, executing, or supporting product qualification/test.
• Thorough understanding of test equipment and fixturing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Test Lab activity and direct program testing functions across Valencia's product families.
• Communicate effectively with staff, senior leadership and customers.
• Balance testing activities among production, NPI and R&D with business priorities.
• Lead new equipment, tooling, and fixturing efforts; support existing test equipment.
• Develop improvement plans and PARs; ensure knowledge sharing across teams.
• Support cross-team communication and development of junior staff.
• Assist in interviewing, training, and counseling junior staff.
• Ensure adherence to quality and auditable standards.
