Job summary

ITT Aerospace Controls is seeking a Test Engineer Supervisor to lead the Valencia, California Test Lab. You will manage test activities, coordinate program testing, and drive improvements across equipment and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in aerospace/defense or regulated manufacturing environments.
• 2+ years leading technical personnel and test activities.
• Experience planning or supporting testing across qualification, development, production, or environmental tests.
• Thorough understanding of test equipment and fixturing; on-site Valencia, CA.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Test Lab activity and direct program testing across Valencia product families.
• Communicate effectively to staff, senior leadership and customers.
• Balance testing activities with production, NPI, and R&D priorities.
• Lead new equipment, tooling, fixturing efforts and support existing test equipment.
• Propose and implement improvement plans and PARs as needed.
• Support cross-team knowledge sharing, process adherence, and junior staff development.
• Develop relationships with peers, design engineering, and operations staff.
• Support technical proposals and BOE generation related to testing.
• Document test reports, analyses, and test results clearly.
• Consult on product development and test planning.
• Assist in interviewing, training, and counseling junior staff.
• Ensure adherence to Quality and Auditable standards.
