Job summary

Advanced Technology Systems Company (ATSC) in Gilbert, AZ seeks a Senior Test & Integration Engineer to architect and lead a new fixture-based test program for sensors and components. You will build the first fixtures, lead two Manufacturing Engineers, and drive the program from concept through scalable implementation.

The role requires reverse engineering, fixture design, and software development for automated testing with a hands-on leadership focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
• Experience reverse-engineering electronic hardware and embedded/firmware behavior on complex systems without complete OEM documentation.
• Strong background in electronics test — communication buses, power systems, signal/continuity verification.
• Proven experience designing test fixtures or bench setups from the ground up, including cable/harness design and hardware selection.
• Software development experience for test automation and instrument/DUT control (e.g., Python, LabVIEW).
• Experience leading or mentoring other engineers on a technical program.

Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end bench test fixtures — hardware, cabling, and control software to emulate the system-level environment.
• Lead and mentor two Manufacturing Engineers, translating direction into a fixture build plan.
• Decide build vs. buy elements balancing cost, schedule, and fidelity to real operating environment.
• Develop or direct software for automated test sequencing, data capture, and pass/fail determination.
• Own transition of component verification to front-loaded bench verification, reducing test hours.
