Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking an experienced infrastructure architect to own SSR test environments and drive the architecture, reliability, and automation at scale. The role involves lab design, network planning, and close collaboration with global teams to ensure scalable testing solutions.

You will lead diverse engineering efforts across hardware, Linux, virtualization, and automation, with on-site work in Westford/Andover MA and remote support for Quincy. Hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field.
• 6–10 years of infra architecture or site reliability experience.
• Experience designing multi-rack, multi-network environments.

Responsibilities

• Owns strategy, architecture, standards, reliability for SSR test environments.
• Designs lab layouts, networks, compute, virtualization, storage, and services.
• Anticipates future infra needs based on SSR plans and priorities.
• Leads troubleshooting across hardware, Linux, networking, virtualization, and automation.
• Drives automation for onboarding, provisioning, configuration, and monitoring.
• Maintains asset records and lifecycle status in a CMDB-like system.
• Plans capacity, allocation, and future investments.
• Coordinates equipment purchasing, installation, cabling, and retirement.
• Performs hands-on lab work when needed.
• Supports remote environment in coordination with on-site teams.
