Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience reading engineering drawings.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Secret Clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Perform life cycle and root cause failure analysis of steam facility equipment.
• Research, plan, design, and develop new test facility systems to improve efficiency.
• Perform thermal and heat transfer analysis on test facility systems.
• Support testing of propulsion and power generation equipment.
• Prepare technical reports and present to Test Facility Engineering Management.
• Prepare proposals, statements of work, and coordinate operator/contractor work.
