Job summary

Hunter Recruiting seeks a Test Engineer II to develop and program electrical and automated test equipment for new products and engineering testing. You will troubleshoot equipment, modify fixtures and control circuits, and develop testing methods to meet performance requirements.

You will collaborate with product design engineers and facilities to document results, install equipment, and ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are followed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent; 5+ years aerospace experience.
• In lieu of Bachelor’s, an Associate’s degree with 7 years aerospace experience.
• Proficient in LABView.
• Proficient in programming languages such as C++ and Python.
• Understanding of aircraft power generation.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting test equipment and products.
• Drafts proposals for testing programs and operating procedures; outlines testing conditions.
• Modifies test fixtures, control circuits, and instrumentation.
• Designs new test fixtures, control circuits, and instrumentation for testers.
• Programs test computers to automate tests and record data.
• Develops test methods with design engineers to meet specs.
• Writes clear test procedures, instructions, and test reports.
• Assists in installing and modifying facility infrastructure for new equipment.
• Adheres to safe work practices and health/safety programs.
• Evening/night hours may be required.
• Extra hours during peak Business periods.
