Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Technician Engineer for the Weekday 2nd Shift (Mon–Thu, 4:00pm–2:30am) to support test development, commissioning and qualification activities across test systems.

You will help build testers and fixtures, provide comprehensive documentation and training, coordinate test readiness with production schedules, monitor yields and uptime, and drive cost-efficient process improvements with Test Support and Manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Ability to present information to managers, clients, and the general public.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Proficiency with Windows-based operating systems and related software (including training in Jabil software).
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Test Engineer in development and commissioning of test solutions.
• Provides deliverables to support production testing.
• Assists in building testers, fixtures and environmental tooling.
• Interfaces to Test Support with documentation and training for test solutions.
• Coordinates training and education for test operations.
• Monitors test yields, efficiency, uptime and reports improvement targets.
• Drives test process improvements balancing cost and coverage for an optimized solution.
• Coordinates test readiness with the weekly production schedule.
