Job summary

Serco Inc. in Virginia seeks a Senior Test Engineer to support unmanned surface programs for the US Navy. You will join a 5–7 person team at the Norfolk, VA site, conducting test planning, execution, data analysis, and reporting with emphasis on OT&E activities.

The ideal candidate holds an active DoW Secret clearance, US citizenship, and a background in computer science, engineering, or a related field, with experience in technical writing and MS Office. Travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Active DoW Secret security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math or hard science with 5 years of experience; or high school diploma with 10 years of Operational Testing experience.
• Experience with unmanned surface platforms.
• Understanding of Surface Navy operations and systems.
• Proficient in technical writing.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Review acquisition documents and develop complex test plans.
• Execute operational tests and analyze data.
• Write test reports and provide DOT&E briefings.
• Support OT&E events and coordinate with DOT&E.
• Plan and execute test events with senior engineers and managers.
• Follow guidelines and higher-level guidance to meet objectives.
