Job summary

Woodsong Technologies, LLC seeks a Test & Evaluation engineer to analyze system requirements and develop evaluation plans for complex programs in Annapolis Junction, MD. The role supports T&E documentation and program integration with government agencies.

The candidate will conduct performance analysis, data collection and modeling, and coordinate with test organizations to ensure timely, compliant T&E outcomes.

Qualifications

• Eight years of TE experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management or related discipline is required.
• Four additional TE years may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research into and apply knowledge of test and evaluation concepts to support T&E activities.
• Plan and Execute Performance Analysis.
• Review planned acquisition approaches to support T&E schedule alignment with decision maker needs.
• Analyze performance risk areas to focus T&E planning.
• Specify, validate, and adapt Modeling and Simulation for T&E use.
• Apply Statistical Analysis of variations in performance behavior to characterize confidence in performance estimates.
• Select, develop, & use analysis tools.
• Execute the evaluation plan on data collected by the Testing Tasks.
• Plan and Execute Performance Data Collection.
• Plan program and event level testing for data collection and timing with decisions.
• Establish and employ Data & Configuration Management capabilities.
• Assess operational requirements for testability and criticality to frame T&E objectives.
• Design data sampling schemes to optimize information/resource balance.
• Select, coordinate, and calibrate instrumentation and data management tools.
• Execute Testing and Data Collection per plan.
• Produce associated Test Plans, Procedures, and Reports/Briefings.
• Recommend draft plans and reports for approval by the task leader.
